New Beginnings

heartLet’s skip the whole “new year, new you” corniness.

I’ve never been big on following the crowd or doing what everyone else is doing, simply because everyone else is doing it. It is my opinion that we should all do exactly what we WANT to do – and if it just so happens to be what other people are doing, that’s cool. As long as it’s coming from inside of you. It may seem that everybody is a blogger, writer, self help guru or Youtuber these days, but I am determined to find my way here. Because I have things to say, ideas to share, and happiness to spread! FullSizeRender

That being said, this blog has been a long time coming. This past year was one of incredible self reflection and new beginnings, and if it’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that there will never be a  “right time” to pursue anything. The right time is now. There is never a better time than the present to do the things that will make you happy, so instead of waiting for the opportune moment, I’ve decided this IS the opportune moment and I’m going to grasp it.

So let’s pursue our future, together.

My hopes for this blog is to create a community that can gather to read, share, and motivate one another to be the very best versions of ourselves. I have big plans for it, so if you’re with me from the beginning – I thank you! I’ll be covering everything from fitness to home organization here as well as on my YouTube channel, and I’m excited to get the content out to you. You can count on new, original posts uploaded once a week. I know that doesn’t sound very frequent in the blogging world, but I’m just sticking my toe in the water – my new life (more on that in upcoming posts) is pretty full and I thought weekly posts were a good place to start.

So thank you 2015, and here’s to 2016! Let’s all raise our cyber champagne glasses and take a sip. It’s been real.

  1. I definitely agree that people should do what ultimately makes them happy, whether it makes them fit in or stick out. You’re the only one that lives your life so why let anyone else determine how you live it? And yes, there’s no better time to start our “pursuit of happiness” than right now. That was a great start Dani. I look forward to what you have coming up.
